Among a certain set, sustainable farmers have become kind of independent-spirited rock stars and this year's big show is about to begin. The Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture's annual conference brings together farmers and farm groupies as well as Amish and others to learn about things like cheesemaking. One of the keynote speakers will be Lisa M. Hamilton. She's written Deeply Rooted: Unconventional Farmers in the Age of Agribusiness. She speaks with The Allegheny Front's Jennifer Szweda Jordan.
