Doug Oster co-hosts the Organic Gardener monthly segment for The Allegheny Front and also contributes stories to the program. He is the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Backyard Gardener. He also works as writer, producer and on air talent for WQED-TV's OnQ program contributing stories related to gardening. He appears on KDKA-TV's Pittsburgh Today during their gardening segments. He also writes about gardening regularly for Pittsburgh Magazine. Doug's Grow Your Own" gardening/cooking column is syndicated nationally through the Los Angeles Times News Service. He co-hosts The Organic Gardeners radio show on KDKA 1020am every Sunday morning with fellow Allegheny Front contributor Jessica Walliser. He's also founder of Cultivating Success a garden program for adoptive and foster children.
Doug gardens organically on four acres in Ross Township with his wife and three children.
