Lou recently relocated to Pittsburgh from the Detroit area. He's worked as a writer and radio producer for the last 10 years, and worked as the senior producer to the jazz documentary program The New Jazz Archive before joining the staff of the Allegheny Front in May 2015. He already loves his adopted city, except for its hockey team. In a previous life, he played bandoneon in a nuevo tango band. His work has appeared on Here and Now, Living on Earth, NPR's The Salt, Marketplace and more than 30 public radio stations.
