Since 2012, Luke DeGroote has been bird banding coordinator at Powdermill Avian Research Center(PARC).
PARC is operated by the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. At Powdermill, Luke is continuing the Avian Research’s mission to long-term monitoring, conservation, and education efforts. Luke holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources from Ohio State and has participated in banding operations and wildlife research throughout the western hemisphere since 2001.
